I worked at Daisy Brand full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - Relatively competitive pay - Good benefits. 4 weeks of PTO right at the start for all employees, good insurance - Majority of people in the company are great, hardworking talented people - Stable, seeing great growth numbers

    Cons

    - Work life balance is poor. Uneven workload; more work is given to those that get more done while others skate by not doing much. - Very little room for true advancement. Shuffled around a lot laterally, but within a small company there is not a lot of room for upward mobility. - Poor decisions are consistently made are corporate that put a significant stress/strain on the plants. Decisions are often made without...

I worked at Daisy Brand full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great insurance, nice profit sharing, & Christmas Bonus comes just before the holiday.

    Cons

Management does not listen to employees. There way or the highway mentality. Raises are based on favoritism. In fact your raise may go to someone else. Management leads by fear. Unfortunely, Only had one good manager the entire time I worked there and he finally had enough and left the company at which things only got worse. You usually don’t have the tools you need to do your job and the work load is high. You typically...

    Advice to Management

CEO/Owner needs to run his company again. Folks currently running it don’t care about the folks on the floor making it happen.

    I worked at Daisy Brand

    Pros

Benefits is about the highlight/ Your career will start out friendly and personable then turn ugly really quickly expecting you to work day and night.

    Cons

Upper management are from another planet. Preach one thing but do another behind everyone’s back They preach Family values but our far far from it. All they care about is the bottom line and the hell with Qaulity of product or the safety of the customers . They received mold complaints on a daily basis and do nothing to fix the issue. They do the least amount of effort possibly to fix the machines as all they care about...

    Pros

Lots of growth and innovation. Employees at all levels are extremely talented and passionate. Company continues to improve benefits for employees.

    Cons

Lots of initiatives to juggle in a rapidly growing environment which can create challenges. However, this also allows opportunities for employee growth.

I have been working at Daisy Brand full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

This is the best place I have ever worked. Daisy gives you the best equipment needed to do your job and they update technology frequently to help make our jobs better. The PTO time and health benefits are number one. You work hard but are rewarded for your hard work. Profit sharing and Bonuses are icing on the cake.

    Cons

none that I can think of

I have been working at Daisy Brand full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great PTO policy. Health insurance and dental and vision are very good as well. Most employees work 4 days a week. Company washes uniforms for you and buys work boots.

    Cons

Variability with shifts. Uncertain when shift will end based on that days performance. Raises are not immediate when starting a new role.

I have been working at Daisy Brand full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

I work in Retail and have been with this company for over 10 years, after working for another company for 25 years. This was the best career move I could have ever made. My only regret is I didn't make this move sooner. Here are some of the pros. Representing the number one selling national brand of sour cream and cottage cheese. Representing great tasting products made with no preservatives, additives or artificial...

I have been working at Daisy Brand for more than a year

    Pros

Great product, and great focus on what goes out the door. Company sales have been growing, and company has been undergoing controlled growth. Shows all signs of being healthy for the long-term. Family owned, not corporate. Run by production people, not accountants. Benefits good, on par with larger companies in most respects. Good team, and good communications, both up and down the chain, and between groups. Most...
