Pros
Cons
  • It is a good old boy company and that is rather unfortunate as there is so many talented people that get looked over time and time again (in 5 reviews)

  • Upper management is all politics (in 5 reviews)

I have been working at Dal-Tile full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible office, enjoy the fun people and those who truly value their talent.

On-site clinic and gym are nice benefits. Occasional dental bus, oncology bus, food trucks. Company celebrations (Halloween, Christmas and Employee appreciation week, all done really well.)

Learned a lot about the flooring industry. They are the big guys so they are not going anywhere. Upper management seem to care about the employees welfare.

    Cons

Lots of hours, some turnover but hopeful that management has their head in the right place and will go somewhere with it.

Location, location, location, restaurants and other businesses are at least 30 minutes away. Delivery works for lunch but errands are impossible. Bad area surrounding, definitely need to head up to north Dallas.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to those who lack training and don't have their head in the game. When someone is checked out it doesn't help others who are working hard to keep everything going.
