I have been working at Dameron Hospital full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I have been a patient here before and when I was a patient I received good care. I like the nurses and I they were nice and I didn't have to wait a long time if I needed help with something. The facilities were clean the atmosphere nice to DAMERON HOSPITAL thank you

    Cons

Although it is like this everywhere the Waiting period in the emergency is very long and I see room for improvement in this area. Especially when it comes just to wait for a nurse to see how bad you are

    Advice to Management

    None

A manager that is not happy, and takes it out on all of us.

    Advice to Management

Having a manager who is happy and has a gpod attitude will make things easier in the kitchen.

    Pros

You can make mistakes and no one will do anything about it.

    Cons

They do not care for their employees. They have no respect for any of the employees, even though they will tell you they do.

    Advice to Management

Get out of management. You are all horrible leaders.

    Pros

Very close to my home and most of the people there are hard working honest and friendly people.

    Cons

Management does not care about their employee's, they have fired many people that have put in 20 plus years to this hospital.

    Advice to Management

The supervisor need to help their employees and fill in when needed. That is never done. Leaving the employees to do it all.

I worked at Dameron Hospital full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Pay is ok, benefits are great as long as you use Dameron facilities only.

    Cons

Different set of rules for different people. Staff RN 's DO NOT ADVANCE TO MANAGEMENT. You won't last long. Cameras are always watching you.

    Advice to Management

you think people like working for Dameron, wrong. If staff is staying there , it's for experience, commitment, pay or waiting for retirement.

I worked at Dameron Hospital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I would recommend the facility located in Stockton as a top notch family oriented organization. Union shop.

    Cons

A little rushed on their orientation program not really a process. I found them more inclined toward the new and young vs. mature and experienced.

    Advice to Management

Working on your orientation program to bring nee staff on without too much confusion. Multiple systems of charting and the lack of uniformity is big issue for nee staff. Staffing can be enhanced with more part time non benefited employees.
