    I worked at Danone full-time

    Pros

401k and Benefits. Good work life balance.

    Cons

Can’t make a profit and won’t listen to employees. Attorneys are running the business and are clueless. Still chasing competition never understand why. Hiring young and laying off their highly skilled older reps.

    Advice to Management

Get your head out of the hole.

I worked at Danone full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very nice people to work with
    People are talented and collaborative
    Strong brands

    Cons

Senior management has vague vision and does not care about employees
Office politics and not merit based promotions
Limited career path given the management is all expats from the French HQ
Expats expensing their outrageous living costs on company money and care less about interacting with local hires

    Advice to Management

Start communicating with staff and make real change instead of showcasing empty promises and pretending to care at convention every year

I have been working at Danone full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Exciting products with lots of growth potential
    Incredible benefits (vacation, compensation)
    Constant change, lots of flexibility

    Cons

The integration with WW has been really hard. People put into positions they weren't ready for, uneven workloads, impossible workloads, huge differences in compensation and benefits. Other cons - to advance you must be willing to relocate and probably to NY. It is a young organization. Minimal training as most employees start at larger CPG companies first. Lotus Notes. So much busy work - especially for the sales people.

    Advice to Management

You are asking us to be patient as you work through the integration but the pressure is intense with no relief in site. Managers who are in over their heads are putting excessive pressure on their teams. The fact that we aren't meeting our numbers adds to the pressure. Watching senior management influx is worrisome - we've been on pins and needles for a year wondering if we will have jobs and that state of uncertainty continues. A lot of people are exploring their options elsewhere and are only staying at DWW because of compensation and benefits. Figure out a way to relieve pressure on us ASAP so we can function.

Also, you have to find a way to allow people to move up in the organization without requiring relocation. During every meeting and call where career growth has been discussed lately, career progression has been promised with the caveat "you must be open to relocation." There are great employees who can't relocate or don't want to relocate to the NY area. Our major locations (NY, CO, CA) are in some of the most expensive locations in the US. There need to be career opportunities for those not interested in relocation.

    I worked at Danone full-time

    Pros

    - good basic salary and package vs french FMCG market
    - high level of responsabilities
    - though environment which enable young/mid manager to quickly discover real corporate life
    - ability to strongly anticipate business trends

    Cons

    - big gap between great HR values of previous Danone of the 90's and 2000's and the though reality of the current Danone (huge workload, selfish management, no HR vision in the long run)
    - french leaders, french leadership teams and lack of international talents

    Advice to Management

HR, do not sell old Danone' values, because they are not here anymore.

I have been working at Danone full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work Life Balance is very good
    New Office design is good

    Cons

All growth opportunities only for particular set of people. Global only by name sake, in reality, they are not thinking global. Very very conservative.

    Advice to Management

Think Global. Include Diversity in real, not just in paper. Measure the diversity spread at each level, not just at the lower levels. Please do an Org level Normalization and level down the difference

    Pros

Stress level not too high, good work life balance, not strict at all in procedures, a lot of employees can do what they like. Good job for a transition period.

    Cons

A messy place that lacks talented people. No clear goals. Frequent changes of directions. Favoritism, certainly not the smartest guys that are offered the best career paths.
Personal development plans are a joke.
I have seen a lot of talented colleagues leaving in a short time, once they see through this company policy.

    Advice to Management

Offer an in-depth training program when a new person is starting, not only on content but also on the way of working.

    Cons

Extra hours are the standard (really long nights!!!)
    Cero long term vision
    Cero hard-work recognition
Had one of the worst bosses ever! (Company knew he's bad and don't do anything)

    Advice to Management

    Pros
