    Pros

    Discounted tanning,discounted lotions, easy work

    Cons

Minimum wage, low commission, still have to pay to tan if it’s not level 1, or sell a lot of product to earn enough commission to tan for free

I have been working at Darque Tan part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The work is really easy, especially if you like the beauty industry. Lots of opportunities for commission and easy to get hours. Free stuff

    Cons

If you don’t make sales, your checks won’t be that great. Upper Management doesn’t care about issues in the salons. They just want bodies to be in there making sales. Ridiculous rules like you “can’t sit” Bc they don’t care about turn over. The only time they are nice is if they need something from you.

    Advice to Management

Care about your employees. Let people request time off and other perks. People apply here for a reason.

    Cons

no break, work alone with no help, and don't get paid for work done after 10 but everything must be clean before you can leave

    Pros

Awesome customers. Nice people, nothing else

    Cons

Having to work alone, not being able to have a specific schedule especially if you have children, they don’t care, they will make you work night. Can’t have a weekend off because the managers don’t wanna work them. They will yell at you for someone else’s mistakes, you are very expendable and they do let that be known, you don’t get a lunch break, you can’t sit down.

    Advice to Management

Respect your employees,! Give them at least one weekend off, you over work people

I have been working at Darque Tan part-time

    Pros

Discounted tanning/retail items, at least you have a job

    Cons

Not enough commission (10%) to make up for the not good enough base pay, you cannot request time off and will have to get your own shifts covered (no one is usually willing to help out), employees usually close stores alone and they are open until 10 PM, sales mean more than anything to these people, raises are given in cent increments and are based on your sales performance more than anything, if you see a lot of customers during a shift it's harder to sell so your price per average "numbers" will go down and you will be below minimum & stores that see fewer customers always have higher numbers - usually no one wants to buy anything unless you push them or if they had already come to buy, Darque Tan always has sales and promotions which means your commission always ends up less than it would at full price (things are never sold full price besides memberships), mandatory meetings once every month and sometimes twice a month

    Advice to Management

Let employees request time off, give dollar raises to long term employees so you don't have such a high turnaround, fix the member accounts that automatically get cancelled every month for no reason!, using bank account info for contract memberships sells less contract memberships!!!! no one carries that around and do not feel comfortable putting it in the system, more incentives for employees
