I have been working at Dart NeuroScience full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Job security. If you're a good employee who is complacent doing the same thing for the rest of your career, this is the place for you.

    Cons

Zero opportunity to move within the company if interests change. No opportunity for training. No opportunity for learning. Lack of promotions. Promotions given by time served instead of merit. Little to no company perks. Poor communication among upper level management and the company as a whole.

    Advice to Management

If you want to keep good employees, raise the incentives for employees.

    Cons

Management on all levels is not good. No upward mobility. Review process is unfair and is downwards. Can not review manager or supervisor, no real change occurs.

    Advice to Management

People work best when happy and fairly treated.

I have been working at Dart NeuroScience full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are some very good scientists and mid level management. Excellent funding for a company this size. Great culture established by the employees.

    Cons

Upper management is completely disjoint from the core of the company. Some very questionable scientific and business decisions are being made in a vacuum of the remainder of the company. Employees are all viewed as simply cogs in a machine.

    Advice to Management

Upper management needs a serious reality check. Company priorities need to be reviewed and majorly adjusted. Treat your employees better with more respect.
