I have been working at Dassault Systemes full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There used to be a lot of empowered and talented people working at 3DExcite, formerly RTT. There's potential to turn it around and stop the downward trend, if they can make some key leadership changes. As others have mentioned, they have very good health benefits. But you'll need them... the place is a health hazard.

    Cons

People complained for a while about the acquisition by Dassault, but the problem is failed and hostile leadership. The current leadership has no applicable expertise in the field and lacks vision. As a result the 3DExcite US organization is suffering, not meeting their targets, and falling dramatically in employee satisfaction ratings.

    Advice to Management

Replace the top US leadership before the hard working talent leaves, and the core accounts are lost. Since the start of last year there are increasing incidences of treating reports with contempt, bullying, with more frequent and open expressions of anger in inappropriate ways. People who have been roughly treated have seen the bully behavior, but fear retaliation from the top for bringing it to light.

I have been working at Dassault Systemes full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    The medical benefits are great.

    Cons

Raises are often terrible at best. The company does a yearly survey each year to find out what areas could use improvement. When the CFO, Kathleen D. spoke to us on the subject, she said that we are paid what they think we are worth and what they think is fair.

    Advice to Management

Stop sending surveys out that create unnecessary meetings and waste everyone in the companies time and then immediately follow up with how we need to work on becoming more efficient as a whole. If you want to talk just to hear yourself speak, then call your cellphone from your work phone and answer it.

I have been working at Dassault Systemes (More than a year)

    Pros

A very compelling vision, they are trying to do things that no-one else is even preparing for. Very professional looking marketing.

    Cons

No ability to advance if you are not in France. Too much bureaucracy to be successful in the marketplace. Marketing outpaces their technology, unfortunately.

    Advice to Management

Try to learn more about the companies you acquire - before you acquire them. Stop buying companies for a year to see if your vision and the market are still in sync.

    Pros

OK Benefits, you can work virtual if you need to. quirky perks in the benefits package. free coffee. Lots of time off, but be careful of using in large blocks of time. you'll be swamped with work when you return

    Cons

Little to no advancement. low pay. no personal growth. Internal policy don't work well with partners.
cross train people. It doesn't hurt to have more than 1 person able to complete tasks.

    Advice to Management

Don't let good talent go to waste. Put a stop to inclusive leadership. If an employee is in control of their career at Dassault, include them in the decisions that affect the success of their work. Management agendas should be to promote ALL employees.

I have been working at Dassault Systemes full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Some nice people but they are all leaving and moving on!!

    Cons

mistreatment if not favored, detached management, fear based management styles, no growth, and hostile work place
HR is useless and only care about events and favoritism. Management turns blind eye to people that do not work there but expect favors and are not that bright. Some people have been there too long and need to move on! No career growth at all...well, unless you are in deeep favor with someone there!

    Advice to Management

Step up your game and stop hiding under your favoritism umbrella!
