    Pros

Great People from the CSMs and below

    Cons

The purpose of this review is to discuss the responses made by HR and the CEO to the negative reviews. There seems to be a "goody two shoes" approach to all the negativity, and I understand the "well wishes" from the response Author to the review author when looking for a different career. Make no bones about it, the information contained in the bad reviews is as close to 100% accurate as can be. I can point to two... very pointed reviews: "You might find a worse company" and "Stay Away from THIS One" - both are accurate down to the very detail of what took place. As one who has sat in Management meetings and witnessed the narcissistic ways of those leading the meetings, the reviews contain facts - not "untruths" as the CEO describes them. This is a company reeling from bad reviews and deperately trying to reverse negative public perception. The only way this perception can be changed is to make a complete change in your C-Level Execs and HR. Until then, this will continue to circle the drain. The responses by the CEO indicates that she is oblivious and clueless to the damage her underlings are creating with regards to the work atmosphere and conditions. I'd like to think she's in the dark about what is going on in their 4 walls, but in knowing her demeanor - I seriously doubt it. If you go to HR and file a complaint, you will soon find yourself on an IPP. I know 18 employees to which that has happened, and then they were fired. Some have been terminated over the phone and not allowed to come into the office to retrieve their personal affects. If there is a termination meeting, they want to meet you elsewhere - often a public venue. You are told that what you say to or file with HR is confidential, but within 2 days - your complaint has come full circle and almost everyone is aware of it. Simply put, there are many "HR Fouls", and if you can't trust HR, then you can't trust the company. You can't trust DataFile Technologies.

    Advice to Management

It's too late to do anything. I'm sorry, but you even make mismanagement look good in comparison.

    Pros

You have temporary employment. That is it.

    Cons

Pay. If you have a family the benefits will be around 700 per month with the deductable around 4k. The pay is not that great and they mess payroll up all the time. Management will talk talk talk but never walk. Management is professional at asking questions and pretending to work but they never follow through. This is end of the line at Datafile. Please take this seriously and don't make the same mistakes we made. I... am warning you, Janine is a crook.

    Advice to Management

Close up shop. You are in denial. We have spoken up and you continue to live in lies. Janine and her managers have no structure and place the blame everywhere else. ANY cold corporation is at least structured and security. This place is going down fast.

I have been working at DataFile Technologies

    Pros

Downtown Kansas City, casual attire, possibility of working from home

    Cons

Please do not be fooled by the 2 previous posts. They were written by Janine Akers, the CEO of this company. Which unfortunately means that she has not taken feedback by previous employees and used it constructively to improve not only herself but most importantly the company as a whole. If you do decide to work for this company, please be aware to not voice your opinion. Doing so, you will be punished... indirectly. Also, you may be promised certain positions, commission, benefits, etc, up front, but it will never be delivered. Ultimately, you will find yourself stressed about your job security. Furthermore, you will find yourself in situations where the CEO herself is yelling, crying, or making irrational business decisions, and later apologize in hopes to cover up the ridiculous and non-professional behavior. I do agree that you can grow with a company as it develops, but any professional manager will agree in doing so you have to value your employees. This is not the case with DataFile, and unfortunately I do not believe this company will be successful because of the degrading and humiliating treatment of their employees.

    Advice to Management

Please start to try to make rational decisions and keep emotions close, so employees feel valued. In doing so, more people will stay with the company which in return means less revenue spent on training for you.
