I worked at Datalogix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The Culture was fun, fast paced, and modern. They take care of employees with a fitness culture, gym, food and vacation.

    Cons

Direction changes constantly and the lack of focus was detrimental at times. Also, Prioritization of important projects and groups seemed to be a weakness.

    Advice to Management

Keep the Positive energy and culture but try to make sure focus and priorities are on the right things. Step back and look at the bigger picture from an industry or overall company view.

I have been working at Datalogix full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, flexible working schedule, fun coworkers

    Cons

There isn't a focus on retaining current employees. No specific directions or path for career growth. They need to work on growing people who have been committed to the company for a significant amount of time instead of hiring in new people to take higher paying roles. Even for employees who want to stay, the minimal raises and lack of bonuses/stock grants after hire make income go down over time. Good employees can't afford to stay here and watch new people come in and take higher salaries. Super demoralizing.

    Advice to Management

You have good people who've been here for a long time. They already care about and know your product. Reward them or lose them.

I have been working at Datalogix full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good comp/benefits and vacation flexibility.

    Cons

Little room for growth. Open to internal movement, but don't do much to keep their employees engaged and learning.

I have been working at Datalogix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working with best practices and trying to do things "right". Lots of flexibility to work on different things and move between teams. Flexible work hours and time off. Not super high pressure, though developers are responsible for their production services and rotate being on-call.

    Cons

None really. Management is quite responsive to employees.

I worked at Datalogix (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Wonderful culture. Great pay.

    Cons

Company was purchased by Oracle which makes everything more difficult because of bureaucratic red tape.

    Too many meetings.

    Pros

Management cares a lot about employees. The entire company culture surrounds treating employees like adults. The office feels like home, and the people here are incredibly intelligent and fun to work with.

    Cons

Certainly some growing pains have come along with the acquisition. Management is doing it's best to work through.

    Pros

You have control over your expectations. You're work day can start, end, pause when you feel is right for what needs to be accomplished. We are really treated as adults instead of living under a microscope. Each person I have interacted with has a great personality and work ethic. They really do hire the best of the best. This company also really beliefs and lives the practice of recognizing/appreciating it's employees. They are constantly

    Cons

My pay rate is lower than I expected. I hope this will improve as I progess into my role after my first 6 months.

I have been working at Datalogix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Emphasis on open access to executives and senior management offers an unparalleled learning experience, especially for people just starting their careers. What I value the most though is that the company's values are not just words on a piece of paper, but are evident in the every day actions and decisions of employees at all levels of the company.

    Cons

Due to the rapid growth of the company, some people have a difficult time keeping up with the pace of the company. There is a commitment at all levels of the company to maintaining a culture of "frictionless meritocracy" which is great for upward mobility, but underperforming individuals are often times kept in their position for much longer they should be.
