I worked at Datapipe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Young company looking to make an impact. Most people people are alright to work with but several leave a lot to be desired. Company lunches are nice.

    Cons

Cross communication can use a lot of work. Up to date inclusion of outside stake holders could use improvement when it comes to project management.

I have been working at Datapipe full-time

    Pros

Limitless opportunity to learn different technologies. Basic pay is decent and environment is pretty laid back.

    Cons

They are a Cisco shop when it comes to R&S even though there is still wide open opportunities to learn. Non-salary benefits can use some major overhaul. 401k matching is 1k maximum per year. Out of pocket health insurance premiums are high and the coverage is pretty wanting. No bonus to speak of.

    Advice to Management

tbh, I haven't seen much of senior management since I started working here.

I have been working at Datapipe (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You get to stay in the same position forever because of the lack of any management

    Cons

Reviews and feedback exists as more of a compliance item and our handled with less personification than a security training.

You will be treated like an animal and if you speak up or try to change things you will get euthanized by people who have no idea how to do the jobs they are in.

Instead of improving relations with employees they have chosen to post fake reviews. The said thing is they can't even write something nice they have to keep it to a very generic two sentences. If you are unable to fake being nice maybe it is time for changes.

    Advice to Management

They should make a change at the top and put the other co-founder in charge. At least people can respect him.

I have been working at Datapipe full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

great people all around, very laid back head office. Great place to learn anything and everything you could ever want exposure to from a tech perspective.

    Cons

Communication from management could use improvement as well as salaries, but talent is rewarded, if you know your stuff or at least care enough to learn it while you work you will do well here. They frown on people that leave work and check out, its an always on environment and if you can't deal with that you might as well skip Datapipe.

    Advice to Management

More HR communication to the people.

Good place to gain experience. Once you have it leave.

    Cons

Zero work life balance and upward mobility is less than fair.
