Fast growing consulting firm that is hyper focused on delivering value for their clients
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Professional growth and knowledge sharing. The CEO invests a lot in the professional development of all his people....the amount of training available is the best I've ever seen in a company. I was immediately impressed by the amount of collaboration/knowledge sharing throughout the company at all levels.
Cons
Some investment is needed for internal tools/technology - lots of disparate systems....consolidation is needed.

Good Benefits, High Growth Company with opportunities in leadership
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
benefits package has great health insurance
Cons
typical growth issues - expanding leadership and organization
- Current Employee, more than 10 years★★★★★
Pros
The continuous training and certification opportunities are outstanding! There is a constant improvement theme to both personal/professional growth as well as company growth. The environment can be challenging in a great way so as to always deliver value to clients and internally to Daugherty.
Cons
Benefits overall are great but changes to some of them can lag the market - it usually catches up and or jumps ahead but would like to see this a little more proactive - ie. Dental plan.

Outstanding Company that Cultivates Consultants, Takes Care of Clients, and Serves Communities
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Team Daugherty is filled with experienced consultants who have the opportunity to get off the road and work locally with Fortune 100 companies on their most strategic initiatives. Daugherty is a great company that truly cultivates employees, provides work-life balance, and makes a difference in the communities it serves in. Quality of health benefits, paid billable overtime, and ongoing training opportunities represent a strong ongoing commitment by Daugherty to invest in employees. Dallas MD has been a strong advocate for consultants behind the scenes, stabilizing the market, and increasing the level of transparency and communication across the Dallas team while also supporting the Chicago market. HR and IT support for consultants while onsite at clients is outstanding. Development and promotion opportunities abound for those willing to invest the time to understand their personal value proposition and take the initiative to make a collaborative plan with their leadership that is tied to business objectives.
Cons
I wouldn't work here if you plan on just passing through, the Daugherty value proposition is so good that it is really hard to leave once you get here. Dallas office needs a more collaborative office space where culture can grow and events can happen.

Pros
Working at Daugherty is like being part of a huge family. From day one I felt welcomed and as part of the family. Not only that, but the benefits and PTO time are some of the best I've seen throughout my career. Most importantly, unlock many other consulting firms, Daugherty stands behind their employees even when the client has to make cuts due to financial issues.
Cons
Honestly, there is nothing I don't enjoy about working at Daugherty.

Great respect for consultant's work experience, good learning opportunities
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Nice benefits package, especially health coverage; Great colleagues, very professional, with a wealth and variety of experience, enthusiastic about collaborating, and really supportive of each other; Excellent learning and professional growth opportunities - lots of training to participate in, including professional certifications; Dedicated leadership from enterprise level and branch level, very involved and passionate; Opportunities to contribute to the branch/enterprise as competency lead, team manager, vertical lead, committee chair, instructor, and more.
Cons
Some of the engagements do feel more like staff aug, but the consultants still bring their expertise and leadership to the client teams even in those situations; Bonus structure is minimal, but salary and benefits overall are competitive; Personal time is required to participate in any extra learning or ancillary activities beyond client billable time, so it's good to know that going in; Big commute to certain clients depending on where you live.
