I have been working at Dave & Buster's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It didn't take long for me to establish new friendships and efficient teamwork. The management and employees are very nice. The potential for career growth is there and always opportunities to earn a lot of money on tipped income. They are also flexible if you have other personal obligations such as family or school.

    Cons

Their benefits policy is not favorable because you don't really gain access to substantially good benefits until you've been there for a year. Upon start, you have access to some benefits but they are not comprehensive at all.

    Advice to Management

People are in need of comprehensive and valuable benefits for self and family. It would be rather difficult to wait until you're eligible for a higher tier benefits package. Also, the base pay could be better but when you're on tipped income that's somewhat trivial.

I have been working at Dave & Buster's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's a great place to work at the start. I started with no tech experience, and learned everything I needed to on the job. Playing the games on the floor can be pretty fun.

    Cons

I'm supposed to be full time, and am often lucky if I get 25 hours a week. Management (other than the Amusements Manager) doesn't take enough interest in the arcade portion, which generally makes 60% of sales. Often have to work very short staffed because of "budget concerns" from corporate, then get yelled at for not getting everything done.

    Advice to Management

Write a proper schedule, listen to your employees
