I have been working at David & Goliath full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

Working here has been my first experience in advertising. What I love most about D&G are the people. This place attracts people who are not only extremely talented, but also just good human beings. I love the culture that the founder has established and continues to nurture. All of the partners are extremely nice, approachable and care a lot about all of the employees. Aside from the great people, it’s fun to be a part...

      Cons

There can be long hours but that is common at a lot of agencies from what I hear. However, even when I am working late I still enjoy myself because I’m surrounded by such great people.

      Advice to Management

Continue to inspire your employees to be true to themselves.

I have been working at David & Goliath full-time for more than 4 years

      Pros

The people at D&G are great, because the culture is unlike most ad agencies. Advertising is a tough industry, and that shouldn’t be news to anyone. You spend long hours, getting great work out, so you might as well surround yourself with great, like-minded, Brave people. You literally join the family, not the company, once you’ve stepped through these doors. The founder is an inspirational leader. He’s built D&G from...

      Cons

For the most part, there aren’t many a-holes. Most everyone is cool, but there are a few egos roaming the halls. Once you’ve identified who they are, just navigate around them, and hope that they leave on their own once they’ve realized their kind isn’t welcomed here. I’ve read some negative comments on here, and everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but from my experiences here, these past few years, D&G is one...

        Pros

Great place to start in advertising. Colleagues care about each other and the work. Management listens and does their best to ensure positive growth and experiences.

        Cons

Depending on project could experience long hours and working weekends. Transparency between teams could improve.

I have been working at David & Goliath full-time for more than 2 years

        Pros

A lot of agencies spout a lot of buzzwords about how they're different, but D&G took their philosophy and physically posted it on the wall in the office. They didn't just print it, they actually live it. It can get busy and chaotic but the quality of the people you work with always makes it fun. The people are great, the agency clearly defines and then lives the culture they've outlined. David Angelo is a high...

        Cons

They could use more meeting spaces; there are only a few conference rooms and they are always taken.

        Advice to Management

Continue what you're doing because it's a great place to be.

I have been working at David & Goliath full-time for more than 2 years

        Pros

        We're known for Hamsters

        Cons

Everything. Not what it used to be. Its a list of entitled mgmt and it shows. People leaving like crazy. Yet the founder doesn't see a problem, trusts in the wrong hands.

        Advice to Management

Actually take a step back and see if this is who you really want running the place. Take off the scarf and actually be "Brave" and listen.
