    If you are the type of person who takes things personally, it might not be the ideal place for you.

    Although there is a great culture implemented, people still feel like a label. More genuine interest towards the staff will go a long way.

    Can move up pretty quickly
    Depending on how you supervise; you can have a fun team.

    Cons

    Long hours so no life outside of work
    Asks for more of you than you get paid
    GM doesn't care about employees just wants to make money
    Managers take credit for your hard work and dedication
    Extremely high turnover rate

    Pros

    -Benefits, health, vision, dental after 90 days.
    -401K matching up to 4% after 6 months.
    -Company paid life insurance with optional buy up.
    -24 hours sick time after 90 days.
    -Accrual of PTO per pay period.
    -Annual 3% raise.
    -Mostly outstanding upper management within hotel.

    Cons

    -Human Resources communication and relationship status with employees and management is very poor.
    -Human Resources does not interview applications from within.
    -Human Resources lacks confidentiality. "Bad mouthing" of employees and managers coming very close to committing defamation by legal definition.
    -Human Resources has lost it's effectiveness as many employees do not trust the HR.
    -Poor morale in management and employees.
    -High turn over.

    Advice to Management

    -Take the time to investigate human resources such as you did F&B.
    -Investigate as to why you have such high turnover at this property.

    clear set of rules are not enforced throughout the board

    Get more involved with general managers so they can be monitored with their actions, allowing more proficiency. Hire the right managers
