    Very low in salary.strick and no health benefits.

    I worked at Davidson Hotels & Resorts full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    -Benefits, health, vision, dental after 90 days.
    -401K matching up to 4% after 6 months.
    -Company paid life insurance with optional buy up.
    -24 hours sick time after 90 days.
    -Accrual of PTO per pay period.
    -Annual 3% raise.
    -Mostly outstanding upper management within hotel.

    Cons

    -Human Resources communication and relationship status with employees and management is very poor.
    -Human Resources does not interview applications from within.
    -Human Resources lacks confidentiality. "Bad mouthing" of employees and managers coming very close to committing defamation by legal definition.
    -Human Resources has lost it's effectiveness as many employees do not trust the HR.
    -Poor morale in management and employees.
    -High turn over.

    Advice to Management

    -Take the time to investigate human resources such as you did F&B.
    -Investigate as to why you have such high turnover at this property.

    Clean Work environment
    free meals during hours at work
    safe work place
    easy employment hiring process

    Cons

    No connection with management.
    No since of appreciation for hard work
    clear set of rules are not enforced throughout the board

    Advice to Management

    Get more involved with general managers so they can be monitored with their actions, allowing more proficiency. Hire the right managers

    I have been working at Davidson Hotels & Resorts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great company to gain experience in a professional setting for college students to further their customer service, multi tasking, confidence skills.

    Cons

    Unfortunately they barely promote within the company. There are new front desk managers every few months. There is a lot of politics within the company and it's hard for them to maintain an image or appreciate their employees.

    Advice to Management

    Want to keep employees? Show them more appreciation and follow through with promises.

    Smaller Company. Room for growth.

    Cons

    Bad communication. A lot of manual admin systems. Not strong in resources

    Needs to strengthen company communication and bench positions
