    Negative Outlook

I have been working at DeKalb County School District full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

The teachers and staff work hard for and care about the children. It is a good job in that it allows time to spend with your family.

    Cons

The administration is very controlling in the worst possible ways. Nothing they do helps the students. Everything they do creates more work for the teachers and staff. Class sizes are impossibly large. Accommodations students are supposed to receive are not provided. IEPs are not followed. There are no special education substitute teachers.
