    Advice to Management

I have been working at DeVry Education Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Within the past few years the company has become more open to remote/flex work which has helped in the work/life balance department.

    Cons

Higher ed is a relatively unstable industry right now, especially private sector so job security is hard to come by, however the company seems to look out for those who have been around for a while, and are high performers.

    Advice to Management

Maybe look into cutting the salary of your senior leadership team instead of constantly laying off more people and expecting everyone else to just take on more work. Also, restructuring every year without giving the previous structure time to stick continues to backfire.

I worked at DeVry Education Group (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some of the pros are as follows:

Working on projects that are vital to the company
Feeling like you're more of an employee than an intern
    Learning new tools and techniques

    Cons

Unfortunately, though it was a great internship, there were some flaws.

    Little communication from direct supervisor
Little communication as far as your responsibilities as an intern
Too many politics hindering the advancement of projects
Lack of expertise when completing certain IT project

    Advice to Management

If there is anything I would say, it would be to ensure that interns know exactly what their responsibilities are. Also, ensure that you mentor the interns effectively, so they can be more effective as a resource. Also, please use some of the samples you have stored in your SharePoint when the time arises.
