    Pros

Fairly good benefits and flexible work options, some option for upward mobility, although not much.

    Pros

Co-workers are great to work with. People are very friendly and

    Cons

DeVry University is still going through a reorganization phase, so future is still uncertain. DeVry is trying to do more with less. They have too many rules and policies that are unnecessary and redundant. So you spend a lot of time documenting instead of networking and assisting students.

    Advice to Management

Get input from front line employees before implementing new process that slows down productivity.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at DeVry Education Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good place to start. there are also some knowledgeable people here.

    Cons

Since new CEO, clearly focused on the bottom line, which in this case seems to be the stock prices. Teams have difficulty communicating which often cause issues for end users. Teams quick to pass the buck when something goes wrong.

    Advice to Management

Focus on providing great service to end users and not cost per employee. Heed metrics and and advice from other teams and reports.

    Approves of CEO

I worked at DeVry Education Group full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great place to acquire experience working within the adult learning education sector

    Cons

Huge disconnect between upper level leadership (home office) and the employees representing the organization
Lack of vision and/or inability to comunicate that vision to employees on the front lines

    Advice to Management

At the local level- do the best you can to keep your team motivated by filtering the top down mandates. May improve long term?
