    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Deakin University full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good salary, nice colleagues, many opportunities to grow and expand our potentials. Good research funding comparable to Group of 8 uni

    Cons

People from minor ethnic background do not get much chance in leadership positions. At least thats what we can see / notice in the executive positions

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent about how promotion works. There are too many unwritten rules where people who perform dont get promoted and the “ok” staff get promoted because of their close relationship with execs. Be fair to all people from all background
