    I worked at Dealer-FX full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Really solid product offering that just needs continued work and could become an industry leader. CEO is still actively involved in the day to day.

    Cons

Only a select few could articulate the companies direction or vision, even long-term employees. If you're not in home office you don't get much communication at all. Sales engine is non-starter, with inexperienced leadership, and P/E ownership scrutinizes everything. Fired 30+ employees 3 weeks before Christmas 2018.

    Advice to Management

There is worthy competition in the marketplace. You can't tell customers/prospects how to run their business and not provide better or less expensive functionality than they can purchase today. They don't have to "Think Differently", the company should though. You're a great organization, but not Apple.

    I worked at Dealer-FX full-time

    Pros

    * Employees have the opportunity to help DFX develop and grow
    * Management encourages input from all levels
    * Upper management is accessible to all employees
    * Career advancement is available to hard working, driven employees

    Cons

    * Some teams are understaffed resulting in overworked, stressed employees.
    * Due to rapid growth, some decisions are made very quickly without long-term consideration.
    * Reactive environment vs proactive

    Advice to Management

    * Continue encouraging "having coffee" to increase feedback between peers and to build/strengthen relationships
    * Limit knee-jerk reactions, especially at the upper management level.
    * Encourage staff to develop skills and build processes to promote a proactive culture vs reactive.

    I worked at Dealer-FX full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

outstanding product, really a industry leader with the service technology. for the most part very good employees. Hi tech environment. Training consultants have a lot of freedom and travel. Excellent corporate emphasis on culture and values. sr. managers are very sharp.

    Cons

The training one delivers is good, but the trainers have to do way too much back office stuff that should be done by others including the service managers. this is their biggest problem. if you are a waiter in a restaurant, you should not have to wash the dishes also. they want training consultants, but they hired service advisors instead.

    Advice to Management

Have others do the 'back office wori', not the trainers in the field. also, do away with the so-called 'mentor' program; mentors are not managers and have not been trained as such. CEO Gary, while very dynamic and positive, needs to re-look at the training that is going on. It is no longer a start up with him and a few others working out of a small space where everyone needs to wear many hats.

    Pros

Amazing field team with work and travel with. An amazing way to build your network within the automotive industry. Easily helps you break into either the IT industry and/or the Automotive Industry.

    Cons

Travel is 75% or more of the job.

    I worked at Dealer-FX full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good product. A lot of opportunity "coming soon". Definitely an industry leader. But horrible processes and shady promising things that aren't there

    Cons

Everything else is horrible! The leadership in this company is degrading, managing by intimidation and bullying, absolutely oldschool mentality , no support for people that don't kiss their butts.

    Advice to Management

Be more progressive and understand that the people you hire have industry background and knowledge. Respect that! You're intimidating do it this way or else approach, is 1990s style of management. Terrible!!!
