    Pros

    Very strong staff -- junior and senior levels
    Tremendous learning opportunity
    High stakes problems and highly positive feedback from clients regarding impact
    Not as political or formal as other firms
    Staff often develop strong friendships

    Cons

    Brand name is not as widely known
    Selected project mix given small size
    Different styles of senior management can be a positive and a negative at times
    Location is attractive given all of the activities in the immediate area but would better if it was downtown

    Keep looking for opportunities to invest in and grow business

    Pros

    Good review and feedback process.
    Good compensation.

    Cons

    Very low employee satisfaction and morale -- leading to high annual turnover (50%+)
    Poor communication of important decisions affecting employees
    Poor allocation of resources (employees as well as costs)
    Recruiting process is deceptive about work culture
    Very variable in lifestyle, hours and management style depending on who's your manager
    Staffing process is arbitrary and unfair, human resource policies are poor.

    Advice to Management

    Try and learn about how to effectively manage your human resources. Realize the value of current employee knowledge, especially given the lack of training. Pay more attention to work life balance.
