    Pros

Good Pay, benefits, dress code, food

    Cons

Bad management all across the board.

    Advice to Management

Get it together listen to the people who are doing the hard work and building relationships with the customers. Upper management take off the rose colored glasses and take a real look at your Lead who is having people quit that have been there for years until the new person was hired.

I worked at Deckers Brands full-time

    Pros

Depending on the brand you work for, or an enterprise function, there are really excellent people. The products have a true point of difference and benefit, adding value to the work done every day.

    Cons

Not all people leaders are mentors, helping develop their team into future leaders (whether people leaders or department leaders). Pay is moderate, especially for the cost of living locally.

    Pros

Deckers knows and embraces their culture. The Flagstaff office is one of most enjoyable places I've ever worked; great people who enjoy working together. Deckers as a whole has a great culture with flexible schedules, autonomy, team-building events, learning focused, and fair accountability. Goals are clearly defined and you are allowed to own your job as you work to meet those goals. I really enjoyed my time at Deckers and it allowed for a great deal of professional growth.

    Cons

There is some separation between the California HQ and the Flagstaff office; this is both a pro and con. The con is that the corporate support is not as strong in Flagstaff as it could be, especially from HR. Because the Flagstaff office is small there is limited internal growth opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Deckers has a lot of young leaders who could use some management training in order to better support their teams. The Flagstaff team is a small nimble team accomplishing great things. Investing in that team and better supporting their needs will bring greater success to Deckers as a whole.

Some of the best people I've ever worked with. Really talented and cohesive team. Very grateful for the experience at Deckers.

    Cons

You definitely stay busy, but they do a lot to help with work life balance. Over all not many complaints

    Advice to Management

Keep investing in your employees, help create a positive culture through a balanced atmosphere.

I have been working at Deckers Brands full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Although the application and interview process was quite long, it was thorough and gave me the impression that my personality was being gauged as well as my skill set. Since starting full time, the internal culture at the company has really lived up to expectations and there is a surprising level of work-life balance for a public company that still has ambitious growth goals.

    Cons

Santa Barbara is an expensive place to live and compensation could use an adjustment at the mid and entry levels.

    Advice to Management

Keep pursuing growth with the various brands, but do not lose sight of the underlying causal culture which makes the company unique.
