I have been working at Del Monte Pacific full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The actual people working in the company are exceptional people.

    Cons

No work/life balance. Taking care of employees is the company thrust but actual execution is only lip service.

    Advice to Management

Please don't treat employees as commodities. :(

I worked at Del Monte Pacific full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Competitive base pay for some functions, Average Benefits, Discounts on near-expiry company products, has good brand equity and advocates health and wellness for consumers and employees

Improve compensation and benefits Transparency during the interview process and do not change items in the contract without the consent of the new hire Provide job description prior to hiring and include job level in the contract

I worked at Del Monte Pacific full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

Good salary, nice office location, free parking, comfortable office, nice people

    Cons

A company who cares about volume above everything else even if not supported by structure. Too aggressive for its own good. Strategy is sacrificed for volume and a lot of things are no longer done well because everything is rushed and pushed even if not really ready. Employees are not engaged nor rewarded apart from salary and basic benefits.. no employee engagement programs. Overworked and stressed employees. No work...

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Del Monte Pacific full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Good benefits, real job training, improved selling and marketing skills

    Cons

Very low level of employee engagement due to poor management leadership, very high attrition due to no work life balance, no regular developmental trainings for employees, hitting targets are more important than employee engagement, pays lip service to taking care of employees and customer service

    Advice to Management

engage in open talks with employees, be more open to suggestions and changes and implement them strictly (including top management), do not pay lip service to customer service, achieve results through highly engaged employees, not through overworked, low morale work force, provide regular trainings to old and new employees
