I have been working at Deloitte full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

some ability to work remote, last week of the year off without using PTO, PTO accrual as soon as you start working and earn each pay period, great benefits, Pension, easy MARTA commute, pre-tax commuter program, tech savvy

    Cons

401K only matches $.25 on the dollar up to 6% and is only allotted once per year in a lump sum, remote work program is not offered to all admins- based on support needs per department, work hours are not flexible- cannot work 9 hours one day to make up for an hour on a 7 hour workday,

    Advice to Management

Do not allow the mistakes of the few to affect the privileges of the many.

I have been working at Deloitte full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

big company, benefits are pretty good like paternity/maternity leave (16 weeks). Lots of options to travel and see the world, albeit those places may be in the middle of nowhere but hey, you can say you've been there!

    Cons

Lots of demands on you from firm initiatives to client work. We just went through a restructuring so there is not a lot of clarity regarding who we need to go to for what.

I worked at Deloitte full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

great benefits, a lot of room to grow within the firm, the HR, Jennifer was great to work with.

    Cons

Work-life balance, and some real estate team senior/manager are all about making that promotion, they didn’t really care about staff members; felt like their cheap labor while I was staffed on their team

    Advice to Management

Real estate team.... gotta do something about them

    Pros

Great personnel development, diversity of projects, and opportunity for meaningful work. I've definitely grown as an employee, learned many skills, and bettered my work awareness and personal brand.

    Cons

Divergent pay scales, internal politics, difficult and variable project expectations from different managers.

    Advice to Management

Transparency and consistency in payment and better 360 review policy with performance review action.

I have been working at Deloitte full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-Strong Name Brand in any almost any Industry and usually rated the top partner in the Gartner Quadrant for most technologies (Salesforce, SAP, etc)
-The Deloitte name looks great on your resume (not many companies are in the same league)
ot many companies look as good as the Deloitte name on your resume
-Mature Methodology that enables you to have more structure
-Talented Co-workers who generally lean towards being Type-A
    -Great Benefits
-Best pay out of all Big 4 and also in Industry but of course still lagging behind BCG, Mckinsey, and Bain but they're competency is more in Strategy/Management whereas Deloitte has competencies in more areas
-Extra holidays and free stuff (entire week from Christmas to New years was given to us paid as well as other days here and there which don't come out of our PTO bank; we also get free things like $500 wellness subsidies which can be used towards massages, gym memberships, etc., also received a free Alexa 2nd generation/Google home assistant)
    -Access to good training

    Cons

-Hours can be long depending on project
-Deloitte attracts Type As so although you work around talented people, they can sometimes rub you the wrong way since many are very competitive
-Too much emphasis on Firm Initiatives (work outside of project work which includes recruiting, practice building, sales pursuits, white papers, etc); more so than other firms
-Inability to transfer to other countries since the business model is Partner-Owned (technically you have to quit and then apply in the new country)
-Can sometimes be elitist when it comes to hiring entry-level employees unless you have a very specific, in demand skillset that's hard to find (usually only hires from top 50 schools)

    Advice to Management

Be more honest about the PTO reduction. I was hired mid 2018 and HR told me that I would be receiving 25 days of PTO but it wasn't until a few months after I started that I realized i was only getting 22 days out of the year. Apparently D shortened it by 3 days. This needs to be communicated better

I worked at Deloitte full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Process Learning, early entry into management, your career is totally up to your ambition. Really sets you up to be a professional and find solutions in any environment. The people are smart and amazing.

    Cons

Travel becomes grueling at times. Lots of politics to navigate. Turnover rate is high. Sometimes you don't have much to choose from as far as projects.
