I worked at Deloitte full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get the opportunity to work on projects for some large clients. Everyone is pretty smart and hardworking, so it's a breath of fresh air working in that environment. Being apart of Deloitte, they've got the backing and network of a company that has been around for years.

    Cons

Onboarding isn't very role specific. You'll find yourself in the first few weeks being bundled together with other people in different areas of Deloitte.

I have been working at Deloitte full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A large company with a huge pool of experienced staff available should you need to call on them

    Cons

Very uncoordinated with poor communication when being inducted. Left to your own devices to figure things out which whilst being the "consultancy" way does not fit certain organisational structures within Deloitte as a whole.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff instead of constantly going on jollies thinking that all is good with the world.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Deloitte as a contractor

    Pros

Extremely high pressure with impossible time constrains and objectives

Will burn through a conveyor belt of contractors without achieving anything

Daily is well below market rates

    Personal attacks by management

    Cons

    Lots of weekend work

Early morning meetings, expected to stay until the work is complete

    Permanently shifting goals

    Advice to Management

The long term strategy to transition to a technology company is never going to happen without the long-term assistance of technology contractors
