I have been working at Deloitte full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It is a great place to work if you are joining the professional services. I made the mistake of joining the enabling areas ( support services) and trust me I made one of the biggest career mistake.
The quality of work and peer is really below par in the enabling areas

    Cons

too much power on the managers which ideally should be optimized. Else as an organization this place is amazing

I worked at Deloitte full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great on resume
Good pay, lots of miles and airline status
Rigorous work and so you learn a lot
Ability to network into different teams and projects

    Cons

Structured so that partner lands a client, partner pulls in a manager to run do the work, manager pulls in consultants and business analysts to work for him/her.
This incentive structure leads to a lot of churn and burn. Pulling people onto projects and then removing them.

Managers constantly state that the project is just temporarily 'crazy' and that they temporarily require extra hours from you, but in the end this is always the case.
