    Pros

Great culture and many opportunities. Deloitte University is a great learning environment and no other firm has something like it. They really care about their people!

    Cons

When busy season hits there are very long hours and deadlines to be made. Even when you leave the office work needs to be done at home and that means working late into the night

    Advice to Management

    Great job!

I worked at Deloitte full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I am not sure there is anything Pro that can be written for this company. They are set to exploit all their people and top people take all the money.

    Cons

Not a good place to work if you have a family. They expect you to work 18 hour days just to cover the project timelines.

    Advice to Management

There is no management that needs any advice here. Its an open game they are playing so no advice.

    Pros

Life is paid for when you're traveling. There are some smart people there that you get to work with and learn from. The culture and atmosphere is chill and relaxed mostly but serious and business when things need to get done. Work in teams and relatively transparent about pay structure at year end calls. Management listens to staff and takes their words into consideration. Lots of different types of projects and get to work with many different people from all over the world.

    Cons

The traveling lifestyle gets old as you get old. (80%+ of traveling dependent on industry and market offering) You may get lucky or unlucky when you first start on your projects depending if you get a long with everyone from your teams. There are a few not so pleasant people I've met at the firm, but mostly good people. The firm can be political in nature, like any big company, make sure you make friends with the right people and know how to network.

    Advice to Management

There's a lot of good talent within the company, try harder to retain your good employees and not to overwork them.

I worked at Deloitte full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. Great first career, even if you don't do well within Deloitte, it's a strong resume builder
    2. Senior team leaders will drive you hard and will get you polished really quickly
    3. Meet smart fellow new graduates
    4. Each partner / senior manager runs a mini kingdom, so even though you're employed by a large multi-national consulting firm, you have the chance to work with a tight knit group of people over and over again.

    Cons

    1. If you're placed on the wrong project(s) your first few months, it can make or break your career and the type of growth opportunities you've been afforded
    2. Each partner / senior manager runs a mini kingdom, so even though you're employed by a large multi-national consulting firm, you have the chance to work with a tight knit group of people over and over again.

    Advice to Management

Figure out how to make Deloitte more cohesive between the different partner / principal teams.
