    Pros

Large Company with good promotional potential. Well positioned for the advent of the Autonomous Car.

    Cons

Easy to get lost in the shuffle because it is a big company. Like all automotive companies is very susceptible to market swings. Training Programs are few and far between. Job is usually trial by fire.

    Pros

Great Finance talent at Manager level and below.

    Cons

Executive finance team is very poor at leadership, communication, and seem to be only looking short term and not making decisions for the long term interest of the company. The company has no loyalty to its employees and simply uses and abuses its team.

    Advice to Management

Start treating your employees as a valuable asset and not simply as a cost which should be reduced at any cost.

I worked at Delphi full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Global automotive manufacturing company with a rich engineering history. There are lots of challenging assignments available.

    Cons

Company is morphing from an Engineering/Manufacturing centered company to more of a portfolio managed company. Delphi is eliminating many high seniority experienced people and replacing with people not adequately trained or able to perform. If you are over 55 years old you are a target.

    Advice to Management

Look at your launch performance and your expertise that you are walking out the door and determine is there is a relationship between the two items.
