the salary could be a little bit more agreeable

I have been working at Delray Medical Center part-time

    Pros

Sometimes scheduling. The patients are for the most part sweet. I've only meet a few that was not very nice. The patients generally want a sweet friend to tell them how the weather outside is.

    Cons

Benefits. If you have to go on leave you wont get paid. Even if you have the extra benefit. What good is it if I cant use when in need. Even if you need workers comp, they will run all sorts of test to discredit you. Not worth your loyalty. This place is not worth making a career. Keep it as a tally on your resume and keep moving. None of the externs want to stay to become a RN, and none of the CNA's or RN's ever stay. Its a problem if all your employees are leaving. After one shift you can not feel your legs. I hope none of you have school or children.

    Advice to Management

Stop over working your employees. The patients don't feel cared for when CNA's have 20 pts and RNS have 6-8. I know it is a business, but workers and pts are at risk if there is a rush to get everything done. Sometimes I literally cannot chart anything let alone get a lunch break. There has been a too many days. It is well known that Boca Regional and JFK have better pt service. The pts are aware of this. They talk amongst themselves and even tell EMT not to come to Delray Medical Center.

Good people, they try to make the best out of an understaffed situation.

They get by with spending the least amount of money possible. It's all about money!!

    Advice to Management
