    I have been working at Delta AirElite full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Schedule, Flying locations (KEYW overnights are fun), most captains are cool, just got raises (still need higher though), and overall the company has their head on their shoulders.

    Cons

    Pay, Flying locations (TEB gets boring after a while), need to explain our new SOP's before just saying "here go learn them"

    Advice to Management

    Bring up the pay so people stop leaving, and even though us pilots whine and complain about everything, we really are the heart and soul of the operation. let's make a balance instead of just having everything 1 way...

    Pros

    Good co-workers, flight benefits, good experience in private aviation

    Cons

    Management, esp. upper management and esp. the present COO. Communication, pay and advancement opportunities

    Advice to Management

    Need to show appreciation to all employees. The present COO is not approachable and has a reputation of terminating people esp. if a mistake is made. Employees who are appreciated and respected are much more successful. It is a winning combination and one that has definitely been lacking for the past 2 years

    Cons

    Talk that most departments won't see much of if pay raise and in some cases, several years will go by with out a company in general pay raise.

    Generous PTO for employees in advertised benefit package but company may not approve PTO before it expires before the end of the year. Some employees have lost several days or even around a week of PTO that can't be used due to requirements to work high volume hours and in many cases with wages that are far below market value.

    I have been working at Delta AirElite full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good people to work for. Aircraft are maintained properly. Travel benefits for family only. They really try to get you home when your rotation is up. Good starting position for someone to build sometime and learn from some really experienced captains.

    Cons

    The pay is one of the lowest for part 135. The insurance is expensive even for today's standards. You will do training on your days off most of the time, which can make for a three week rotation. slow upgrade for most fleets.

    Advice to Management

    Increase base pay. Use reserve pilots to cover training so that pilots can still have their scheduled days off.

    Pros

    Delta Mainline travel benefits are very nice but you have low priority.

    Cons

    Poor Salary, No vacation, Hotels are substandard, Non-union employee at will, very poor work rules, favoritism.

    Advice to Management

    Reinvent yourself as a real company. Endless examples in the marketplace.

    Pros

    It's a job, that's all it is. Keep looking for other career employment if you come to work here.

    Cons

    Terrible Corporate culture, ethics, and workplace environment.
    Missed paydays, miss-processed paychecks, loss of earned PTO, etc. A plethora of failing by the company and senior mgmt.
    Adversarial Leadership and management, No Company policy-handbooks so nothing to hold them accountable. impossible to take PTO and such without having to 'cover' for others.
    Career and professional growth, Benefits, and salaries are stagnant - There is no upward potential with this broken business model

    Advice to Management

    Change, completely change your outlook to employees and careers here. The inverse Kantian theories and the acidic environment you created and perpetuate make for excellent workplace studies. aka Lincoln Electric studies.
    If the company is not growing and offering industry leading wages and benefits, then something else is broken. Bad business plan and terr
    I'd sign a union card, We thought Segrave was the problem, it goes much deeper.DGS- Main line have it in to squeeze DPJ for every penny and our blood.

    Awesome co workers , health benefits are decent. Nice to have flight benefits.. Pretty flexible with pto time.

    Cons

    Management is terrible, very inconsistent. The starting pay is way below industry standard.

    Focus more on the little guy.
