I worked at Delta Products full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This company is a fast follower to market with a little innovation, so products are relatively easy to sell. Health benefits are first class.

    Cons

The business group I worked in (FMBG, specifically Breez Ventilation) is in a constant state of chaos with out of stocks on something at any given time. Company does not keep adequate inventory and lead times from China are long. There little or no marketing support and if a problem would arise, the company would rarely accept responsibility.

As an American working for a Taiwanese company, there is very little room for advancement. There are no raises in salary. Company overall pays less than those in their category.

My direct supervisor was a micromanager with unreasonable expectations. Her way or the highway. After my departure from Delta (I resigned for a much better opportunity), I discovered she was slandering my to my customers and colleagues. Very unprofessional behavior for a position I worked many long hard hours.

    Advice to Management

Breez is a good product. I hope you invest in it and are ready for prime time one day.

    Pros

$10 medical copay. Nice Building. Open floor plan. Green environmentally concious

    Cons

Management talks down to you with F-words in public. Keep adding work to u that's not part of your job description.

    Pros

    Excellent benefits. Promising looking company.

    Cons

Politics and nepotism are above company's mission. Management talks down to you.

    Advice to Management

Advise you to clean house, starting with an amateurish IT management. Why delegate work to you if you are going to be micro-managed 18 hours a day?

I worked at Delta Products full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Best benefits offered in any company as far as healthcare and nice facilities with decent products.

From my team here, people come to retire. They know they can put in the bare minimum without being held accountable if they don't succeed or contribute.

    Cons

Awful leadership and no strategy. Has the potential to be great but foreign management and HQ in Fremont do not have heads on straight. It's almost laughable.

Technological behind in software. No guidance or room for growth in any department.

    Advice to Management

The restructure for IABG-Americas is insulting, embarrassing and detrimental to everything the hard workers put forward.

I worked at Delta Products full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

strong health benefit, nice people here and there, both of the top managers are very reasonable and respectful persons.

    Cons

Favoritism shows up here. If you are one of the special guys then you are in a right place, with privileges. If not then there is no space for you to grow. Manager will not give you a hard time but hard work is for sure, and no appreciation you will really receive, with time goes on you just feel tired, and start to think about what are you doing here.

    Advice to Management

This is kind of severe issue to the team already need attention.

    Pros

One of the most capable companies in its field

    Cons

Constant chaos prevents organization from growth
It is more important to be able to speak mandarin than to have talent

I have been working at Delta Products full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent company benefits, salaries are market competitive, Sr. Management are very approachable and appreciate hard work, company is growing and there is strong career path opportunities. I would highly recommend Delta as a company to refer to friends and former colleagues alike.

    Cons

With change come challenge. Management will need to be more visible with Taiwan on growing the company. AS a new employee not much hand holding so you must have some level of assertiveness.

    Advice to Management

Continue to hire people who bring in ideas and are willing to make impact to grow new business/support the business.
