I have been working at Dendreon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    3-day work weeks
    Thorough training program
Resume builder (GMP, Batch Record Review, cleanroom, fast-paced, biologics). Flow Cytometry for QC BioAssay Associates.
    Pay & Benefits
    Many Breaks, Easy Work

    Cons

Strong day-to-day sentiment that management is not on your side and will not back you up
Poor potential for career growth (no upward mobility)
Shifts combine swing and grave or are split grave (ie mo/tu/fr)
    Preferential treatment
    Meaningless projects
    Poor leadership
Company only has 1 product (sinking ship)
Certain coworkers will not pull their weight, so you'll have to pull theirs. They'll probably be much better compensated than you are too.
Repetitive and poor development beyond repetitive production processes (only a few for each department). Learning stops.

    Advice to Management

Learn to identify which projects will be a waste of resources and let go of them. Do real work instead of padding the metrics.
Encourage and support your employees when it's deserved.
Get rid of dead weight on all levels. Quality department is a mess, middle management everywhere, and poor mfg/qc workers harm patients and drag the team, company, metrics, and morale down.
Push the best employees forward to lean out and improve the company. When we get bought out again, take these employees and do more with them than just make provenge.
