I have been working at Dennis Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I may have to think longer about this.

    Cons

Management is rude and disrespectful. Lead Architects are bullies. You have to be in their good side to move up in the company, in other words: kiss a... Your work is not valued. There is no room for growth. Insurance benefits are not good. The office environment is awful. A lot of office belittlement.

    Advice to Management

Value does who are doing the work and actually pay attention to who has done the majority of the work because that counts. Opportunity for growth would be great and its barely an option right now.

I have been working at Dennis Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Get to see Beginning thru End on most projects
    - Friendly Employees, Lifting Clubs, Flag Football in the Fall/Winter, Volley Ball in the Spring/Summer
    - Flex Vacation
    - Pay for half the parking

    Cons

    - Work tends to be busy for a few weeks then slow to a complete stop and pick up... plus side when slow, there are a ton of programs to keep learning.

    Advice to Management

There are great career opportunities here and everyone is very friendly... but a way to make it easier for someone to switch roles once already inside the company for a bit would be nice.

    Pros

Large company to work for and because of this there is Great field exposure, especially for those just starting in the industry. Intern expierence looks great on a resume and shows you understand and can work with multi disciplinary people.

    Cons

Start-stop-start busy seasons meaning that when your busy you're slammed and when you're not busy it's dead. The company offers a lot of software to learn on downtime and encourages it's self learning via tools like video tutorials and manuals on their database.
