I worked at Dental Dreams full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I was an office manager in Michigan for just about 3 years. I absolutely loved working for Dental Dreams. I had an mazing Regional Manager and he always had my back. Working for Oscar was very rewarding. YES, there were trying days, and there were days I wanted to scream, but over all the experience was satisfying. I learned a lot about myself and how to be the best person/manager I could be. My staff was awesome, and made the sometimes 12 -14 hour days go by quickly. The patients yell, and get mad about the wait time; but i just kept reminding myself that we are helping other people. I was never going to compromise someone's care, for another's wait time!

    Cons

Fast paced and hectic at times. If your looking for someone to hold your hand and tell u your doing a good job- this isn't the right company for you.
You have to manage your time and the time of your doctors. Lunch and breaks are your own responsibility, management isnt there to babysit.
Hours can be trying, if you cant work the hours the company is open... it wont be a good fit. If the Doctor decides to work early or late... you work early or late. It's pretty straight forward.

    Advice to Management

Future managers need to remember that the staff is there to work for you! Trust them... do whats best for the company AND the employees.
Be understanding and willing to compromise. Develope the skills employees show and it will all work out. Delegate, you cant do everything!
Be ready to put in work! It pays off!!!

I worked at Dental Dreams full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Free dental work
Good co workers in that office

    Cons

Literally everything. The management from the absolute top to the office manager I had in the Blue Island office was just horrid. No communication. Expecting and demanding over 100% of work for nearly nothing in pay . The few times I met the CEO, he was horribly rude and tried to instill fear in all personnel

    Pros

I am shaking my head at this section. This is dental dreams there are no pros only fake reviews by employees.

    Cons

Spend your day and nights working here non-stop. Say goodbye to your personal life. This company is your life now. Say goodbye to your lunch time. Training staff on a constant basis. Rude/sometimes creepy managers.

    Advice to Management

Just quit. It's the ones that stay too long are the ones that don't know dentistry and are making it a hell for the rest of the staff and patients.

    Pros

Benefits, Paid Lunch, Patients, Some CoWorkers

    Cons

Office Manager, Pay, Environment, Cleanliness, Integrity, Job Security, Shall I continue

    Advice to Management

Learn how to not be so hungry for power and more for success. Speak to you employees not at them. Respect your dentists and employees more, appreciate your workers more, be a better office manager, learn to be a better leader. Learn how to lead not dictate. Tone it down and actually work with your team to make the office better don't just bark orders... Get in there with them.
    That is all
