I have been working at DentalOne Partners full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Competitive benefits and pay and work schedule

    Cons

All the negatives of working for a big company. The way they make you check your compensation is ridiculous. It is extremely confusing, and mine has been wrong multiple times. I have to check 3 different sites to check my collections and my compensation and my lab fees, etc. They shorted me by over $1000 of pay on my first 2 pay periods, and when I finally got someone to show me how to check my compensation, it was indeed wrong. This happened even though I should have been on an even guaranteed base pay during the first two pay periods.

    Advice to Management

Streamline the processes for checking doctor compensation, collections, and production and compare to the amount on the pay stub. Also, please switch to electronic charting. It is really archaic to still be using paper charts, and it is very confusing to use computers for the X-rays and scheduling but not charting and notes.

I have been working at DentalOne Partners full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have really enjoyed working here. As a new team member, they have been VERY helpful in showing me how the DentalWorks office runs- even though I've been an assistant for many years, all offices work differently... I have caught on pretty fast with their help. The doctors are great!

    Cons

Would have loved to have gotten benefits after 60 days, instead of 90 days....especially with my experience and age. (And I missed out on a paid holiday also!)

    Advice to Management

    no advice...you're doing great!

    Pros

I absolutely love the helpfulness of everyone. Being a new employee, everyone is willing to help with any questions. Managers are available to talk and engage with the employee's on a regular basis, something not many other companies do. I love the flex schedule. DentalOne is, for sure, a great company and working environment.

    Cons

Onboarding takes a while; getting access to all the appropriate systems needed to effectively perform duties takes a few weeks.
