Pros

Really nice open culture. Young people with enormous drive to deliver best work in our field. We work on top end solutions and there's a lot of room for personal development.

Cons

There's a bar in the office, ping pong, free fruit & snacks and the office is designed by inhouse architects :)

Pros

Big focus on cultural fit when hiring so the work atmosphere is generally good, and the colleagues are people you like to see at work every day as well as have a drink with after hours. The work is fast-paced so definitely not boring and a great place to learn, and the growth of the company means it is an exciting time to join the team and there is definitely the possibility for learning and career growth.... Flexible working hours, a generous WFH policy, cool office and nice emphasis on social events.

Cons

Individual teams are still learning to align with each other so many processes are still a work in progress, and sometimes this means implementing changes before they are perfected. The workload can be demanding as it can be in all client-facing marketing agencies.

Advice to Management

Continue to listen to the team about what works and doesn't work, and emphasise unifying company culture across all Managing Directors and teams.

Pros

I can write a whole essay about how amazing it is to work at Dept, but I'm going to do it in a few sentences. The people at Dept are awesome, you are not just working with colleagues but with friends/family! Dept takes good care of its employees, by making sure you are learning enough and having fun at the same time (work hard, play hard). The agency is growing like crazy, so opportunities within the company itself... are endless. If you want to work at a fast-growing agency, that loves its employees, where there's a lot to learn and where you are appreciated? Don't look any further :)

Prepare yourself for some hard-working ;) (But don't worry, it's not like you have to work nightshifts)...

Looking at the last 6 months, the only negatives I can mention is the fact that our coffee machine wasn't working one morning. I am truly enjoying working here, with this group of people.

Dept is hands down the funnest employer I can imagine Great benefits such as many events, free bootcamp, awesome meals and a bunch of trainings to develop yourself (in- or outside of your working field) The learning curve is steep. There are so many ambitious and skilled people around you and internal knowledge sharing is very much stimulated

Cons

High workload. If you're not up for that this isn't the best employer for you.

Great culture, strong career progression in a fast paced environment. Would recommend to anyone looking to join a growing agency with huge ambitions.

Not really a con but you have to be the kind of person who's willing to share ideas and really get stuck in
