I have been working at Desert Valley Medical Center full-time (More than a year)
Hire New-grad RN's even into special (ER, ICU, OR, L&D), Easy to transfer depts and try new things, friendly staff/co-workers
Lowest paid in the area, even yearly wages are only 50 cents. Company would rather lose its employers than match other area hospitals pay scale.
Advice to Management
It would be nice if management cared enough to fight for their employees, The entire hospital will always be majority new RNs which is scary. If the hospital would offer a more competitive pay scale it would keep RNs from leaving after getting their few years of experience in.
