    Pros

Design Group allows you to take on a lot of responsibility right from the start. The great variety of clients allows you to build up a great skill set and work all over the country. The compensation is fair and a horizontal management structure allows for good communication and day-to-day interaction with all levels of coworkers. The respect given among coworkers creates an environment where autonomy and creativity is heavily encouraged.

    Cons

Travelling all the time can be tough, depends on your lifestyle preferences. Health benefits are not competitive and expensive. Vacation time is not on par with competitors. The offices are dated and not in city centers

    Advice to Management

Overall a good job. Try to be less stingy on vacation and office decor.

    Pros

Great Experience Working with A variety of Clients on varrying projects accross multiple industries

    Cons

Too much travel. Promised 50% when hired but ended up being more. Just make sure to discuss during interview

    Advice to Management

Continue to build local clients to decrease travel requirements. Projects are interesting but often require too much travel and too many hours from employees.

I have been working at Design Group (MO) (More than a year)

    Pros

The Design Group culture is genuinely "people-centric". BWDG creates an environment where employees are empowered to develop the business and take ownership in sustaining the business model while being encouraged to provide their honest opinion and feedback without the fear of repercussion. The company is clear in providing expectations and the career advancement opportunities are available to each employee provided they are willing to put the work in. It is evident that the senior leadership are invested in growing and nurturing the younger talent by providing their guidance when needed. BWDG also offers excellent health incentives for each employee, benefits, and competitive 401K match. The culture and job stability are very rare and huge pros especially in such an uncertain economy.

    Cons

Travel is required for this position which can be a tough personal sacrifice. The company knows that it is a hard on employees, but the appreciation is felt and they do their best to try and minimize and make up for it. The pros outweigh the cons.
