    Pros

Acceptable salaries but still below it's industry.
    Flexible Work
    Good Benefits

    Cons

Too many to list. Here are few...
You will dread getting up in the morning and coming to work

Projects are mostly concentrated at strategic locations like NY / LON. Cary will have leftovers menial work !!

Political cesspool - your advancement is pretty much at the mercy of someone in NY.
If you can be a good boot-licker and do whatever is been told to do like a good dog you have a life here !!

Jobs are not based on your experience , but on the needs of short term projects.

Funds are squandered elsewhere , Penny wise Pound foolish !!

Pretty much you just have to pimp yourself every day to NY or London

Manager's care less about your growth, and want their cut at the end of their year safe-guarded.
Performance measurement is based on whims and fancy of someone in NY / LON. it's PMS for you on a daily basis.

Projects have horrible track records and you will just be thrown in to pool of sharks who are protecting their own interests.
Cary upper management will conveniently stay out of the picture and will show up to capitalize on your fruits at the end of the year. If things have failed, you will all be set to be the goat / sheep ready for execution.

Layer and Layer's of VP positions with no real Business or technical Knowledge to support the team. In fact, VP's are meeting facilitator and nothing more. Front desk Admin can do the same job. Setup meetings !!

    Advice to Management

    No advice will change !!!.

    Pros

Good benefits and salary if you are coming from north.

    Cons

Un eligibles are sitting as VP in Jacksonville location, no work life balance. They need to train their managers and need to give them the people skills. Switching between departments and going to next level policy is poor. High turn over rate due to managers mostly.

    Advice to Management

Train and scrutiny the managers their should be a hearing from the manager and employee both. Managers are taking benefit of their vp title some managers are really a liability. Hr doesn't play a role even if you complain several times.

I worked at Deutsche Bank full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

There are a lot of good, smart people working at DB.
Interesting deals and structures being done.
Still a great name to have on your resume.

    Cons

There is an overall culture of bowing down to senior management, like they're kings and queens. Nobody is willing to push back.
The ranks of senior management change constantly, and with each change comes a new host of friends and cronies from other financial institutions, each one with their own visions and ideas.
No single restructuring or idea is given enough time to gestate to see if it will even right the ship. Before long, the person behind it leaves or is fired / laid off, and then the process starts again.
Compensation is a nightmare - get a multi-year guarantee or be prepared to get zeroed out when the bank determines it needs cash more than you do.

    Advice to Management

Management must set a course, stick to it and take the pain that comes from making hard decisions. Spend the money necessary to fix the bank's problems. Laying off thousands of employees saves money in the short term, but long-run it's more expensive and has a huge negative impact to the morale of the remaining staff. The "values and beliefs" that management "signed their names to" is a joke, and you need to stop talking about this. These values and beliefs are what most people call common sense. It's like saying that you agree with the Ten Commandments.
