    I have been working at Deutsche Telekom full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Working with German and Netherland colleagues was very good experience.

    Cons

    No projects. Most of the people are in bench for prolongated 6 months and more. No good communication from top management. Indian employer and HR top management really don't care about employees. Attrition rate is very high and they don't care about it or address any of the employee concerns.

    Advice to Management

    HR Should work to reduce attrition. Communication will help you to reduce the gap

    Pros

    Work life balance , no work at times, slow work
    On site

    Cons

    A lot of politics
    Company driven by only seniors and old employees
    You need to gossip and spread rumours to survive
    You need to be in good books of your manager by taking them out to party, sharing drink, going at their flats, etc
    You cannot be a strong independent person here
    Your piece of mind would be lost once you join here

    Advice to Management

    Grow up, be mature, look,outside other companies what the culture is, stop favouritism, believing and giving in gossips

    - Not an open work culture.
    - Technical Architects lack technical knowledge.
    - Poor management.
    - People working in this organization for a couple of years have a fear that they will loose there importance if they share all information to the younger guys coming in for work.

    I worked at Deutsche Telekom full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    I did not find any other than you get to play foosball

    Cons

    First of all this company do not have to do anything with Telekom industry and Deutsche Telekom
    The whole company is driven by only few who are there since the companies birth
    The whole company is divided into two parts framework(so called)and module teams.
    The framework team is built to paralyse all other module teams
    Framework team does nothing but wraps every class given by dotnet into another class and makes module teams mandatory to use it.
    Nobody from this company who is so called geek of the company want to share their knowledge making new joiner leave the company

    Advice to Management

    Just grow up and be mature

    I have been working at Deutsche Telekom full-time

    Pros

    Work-life balance is not just a phrase here, but can realisticly be achieved. Contract typically is for 38 or 40 hours per week.

    Cons

    Most of the work just focuses on internal processes. There is very little entrepreneurial spirit and it´s hard to get things done.

    Advice to Management

    Remove bureaucratic hurdles and provide room for innovations. The company´s product devisions need to focus more on customers.

    I worked at Deutsche Telekom full-time

    Pros

    The hiring process was short (at least in my case, because the manager immediately accepted me)

    Cons

    The new employee has to learn thing on his own, since the training is held one or two months after being employed. It took three days to get a laptop, and the phone (the most necessary thing didn't arrive). They didn't create me an e-mail address. They did not fully inform me about their products portfolio. When I asked for training the manager told me that I have to stay and watch the others two.I left after three days. This was a Telekom partner. I heard that working at the real Telekom is a lot better.

    Advice to Management

    Please review closely your partners. They are the ones who represent you.

    Cons

    * rudimentary systems/data bases
    * procedures without logic
    * zero communication between the departments
    * inefficient employees
    * facade evaluation system it does not look true image of employees
    * disgraceful working environment
    I consider my T experience awful and disappointing (I have received a PC after 3 months, I have received my Job phone after 5 months and after 6 months I am still waiting for some apps authorizations that could help me to finish my daily job.

    I worked at Deutsche Telekom full-time

    Pros

    Für wenig produktive Menschen ist das der ideale Job ;-)

    Cons

    Es ist ein streng hierarchischer Konzern, der nichts duldet, was der Meinung derer, die in der Hackordnung weiter oben stehen, entgegensteht.

    Advice to Management

    Puh, schwierig. Ich würde die Firma auflösen und nochmal neu anfangen.

    I have been working at Deutsche Telekom full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Gehalt kommt meist regelmäßig
    Kollegen sind gut man kann gut untereinander arbeiten so die Organisation das zulässt
    Gute Kantine in Bonn und Frankfurt an anderen Standorten gibt es auch Kantinen die nicht so besucht werden

    Cons

    Auch in den nächsten Jahren wird Personal abgebaut werden . Entwicklung und Perspektive aufgrund rückläufiger Mitarbeiterzahl deshalb schwieriger als in einem Wachstumsunternehmen das Experten sucht

    Advice to Management

    Innovationen extern zukaufen oder weiter sich aus dem Geschäftsfeldern wie Entertain zurückziehen und nur noch reiner Infrastruktur Anbieter sein wie Gas, Wasser oder Strom Unternehmen. Eigene Forschung und Entwicklung ist zu klein geworden
