I worked at Deutsche Telekom full-time

    Pros

    - Good for fresher.
    - Good salary structure to save the tax.
    - Good Country Head without any control on the directors.

    Cons

    - People have associated with this company in higher management are not capable. They runs company as family member company.
    - They judge people on there length of stay over that company
    - Higher mgt evens says that they are more domain focus oriented company they don't need very technical people. Beware technical people with good amt of exp.
    - Too much dependency of senior people. Senior people feel very insecure when they get some professional competition and involve into bad politics.
    - They follow the process only to confuse them and not applicable to employee those have stayed very long.
    - A flat structure with lots of politics (Indirectly there is a hierarchy but they don't claim it. )
    - Even some senior guy does n't deliver that is ok. Sr. mgmt. never ask any questions. however you as a new employee would be always answerable.
    - Technical architects - Lacks Industry standards. Not open. very much focus on a badly designed application. Promotes them as good design. lack in depth of innovation. always promotes non standard design to screw up developer's life. Never promotes skill development.
Few Director never understand what is innovation, skill development and even management tricks.
Testing Team : Lacks testing vision and prospective even.
    Testing automation: lacks vision
Quality: Surprise what they are doing their.

    Advice to Management

A company should be run professionally not like that employee feels bad about something. Organisational goal/ethic/values are more important than anybody and off course the employee should be looked like an great asset not as a family person.

I have been working at Deutsche Telekom as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Once your in, your contract keeps rolling.

    Cons

    Terrible location
Terrible canteen, I mean really bad!
No communication with colleagues, management, clients or users
They sack all the talent and keep the deadwood as the talent asks why the cruisers are allowed to cruise, its insane!

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the dead wood, ask yourself why ALL projects in the last 5 years have failed.
