    I have been working at Deutsche Telekom full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Secure working enviroment highly protected by Workers Council.
    - Above average compensation for middle/higher managament.
    - Relativly good work/life balance.
    - Big internal job market( even though is not really easy to rotate ).

    Cons

    - Slow decision making process.
    - Contsantly most of the segments are re-orginizing/transforming.
    - Internal IT ( Tel.IT.) has a loooot to do to catch up with the external IT market.
    - Service desks can be a challenge.
    - Trying to get international but still is very Deutsche !! :)

    Advice to Management

    Give more magement positions to International resources.
    Make your strategy more transparent and have a more effective program portfolio management.

    Pros

    Work life balance , no work at times, slow work
    On site

    Cons

    A lot of politics
    Company driven by only seniors and old employees
    You need to gossip and spread rumours to survive
    You need to be in good books of your manager by taking them out to party, sharing drink, going at their flats, etc
    You cannot be a strong independent person here
    Your piece of mind would be lost once you join here

    Advice to Management

    Grow up, be mature, look,outside other companies what the culture is, stop favouritism, believing and giving in gossips

    - Compensation is at par with the industry standards
    - Good for people who are not enthusiastic & have a laid back attitude.

    Cons

    - People working this organization for few years have a lot of attitude.
    - Zero innovation
    - You need to be a follower to survive in this organization. You can't have your own opinion.
    - Not an open work culture.
    - Technical Architects lack technical knowledge.
    - Poor management.
    - People working in this organization for a couple of years have a fear that they will loose there importance if they share all information to the younger guys coming in for work.

    Advice to Management

    Get some good management training.

    Lots of chances to evolve nationally and also internationally. Nice and helpful colleagues (especially the Germans(

    Difficult to escalate as the management is sometimes hard to reach, due to a multinational company.

    Interesting technology projects, competitive salary, secure job, training opportunities, international environment, Bonn is a nice town for families

    Cons

    Internal politics, overemployment in Germany vs. squeezed resources in other countries, oversized and political headquarters in Germany, slow career growth

    Leaner headquarters, clear responsibilities split within headquarters and between headquarters and local NatCos, more accountability for headquarters

    Pros

    I did not find any other than you get to play foosball

    Cons

    First of all this company do not have to do anything with Telekom industry and Deutsche Telekom
    The whole company is driven by only few who are there since the companies birth
    The whole company is divided into two parts framework(so called)and module teams.
    The framework team is built to paralyse all other module teams
    Framework team does nothing but wraps every class given by dotnet into another class and makes module teams mandatory to use it.
    Nobody from this company who is so called geek of the company want to share their knowledge making new joiner leave the company

    Advice to Management

    Just grow up and be mature
