I have been working at Development Transformations full-time

    Pros

Working at DT has been a great experience. I have been able to be involved in a variety of interesting and impactful projects which has allowed me to gain experience in many different areas. Everyone in the office was super welcoming when I first started and seem to be passionate and excited about the company. The office is located in a great area in DC with plenty of great places to eat nearby!

    Cons

There are no notable cons to working with DT.

    I worked at Development Transformations

    Pros

Horizontal structure compared to other development agencies in Washington, DC. Many opportunities to talk to senior staff, as the headquarters are very small. You get to do a bit of everything because the team is so small. For junior staff such as myself, research, admin and paperwork take up most of the time but you also get to sit in on most meetings and interact on a daily basis with DT's team of international consultants.

    Cons

You are thrown into the deep end when you start- the team is small and there's not much time to train you formally. Come equipped with proposal writing skills and basic accounting.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up! Great, supportive, challenging management.
