I have been working at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

It's a job, it pays the bills, some of the clients make it worth staying.

    Cons

They only care about making money, they set you up to fail by loading the managers down with work some of which is completely unnecessary. The company is very unorganized , they don't value their employees opinion if you speak up you'll be considered a complainer, not a team player or negative. It's such a shame they don't act like what they say in their mission statement. Work life balance is non existent except for those who are lucky to quirk from home. They won't even allow the managers to work from home for at least 2 days a week, they don't have a problem having the mangers exposing themselves to illness , while knowing that we are capable of working from home, after all they've given us tons!!!!! of extra wheel that needs to be completed.

I worked at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Helpful work community. Gaining experience working hands on. Will help you practice interpersonal skills.

    Cons

Extremely beaurocratic. Extremely stressful. Writing intensive (might be a pro if you're into that sort of thing, but you're doing very procedural boring writing for insurance purposes) Lots of changes while on the job, including things that make your job harder and more stressful. Pay is somewhat low. Would not recommend if you're not a social person.
