    Pros

The management doesn't seem to care for the employees they oversee, they promise raises in hopes to keep you around but never follow threw. When they promote employees they pick there favorites over the more qualified.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

decent pay, easy work in every department.

    Cons

Very unprofessional environment, horrible management. They make promises they can't keep, and tell you lies just to get you in the door. If you want a raise, be prepared to kiss some butt. The slackers are the ones that get credit for everything while the people that bust their butts get nothing!

    Advice to Management

Clean house on all management and start fresh! Listen to your workers when they tell you there is a problem with the management!!!!!!

    Pros

The co worKers all get along, weekend off.

    Cons

Management makes promises that they don't follow through with. They do not give out raises or show appreciation for their employees. They over work everyone while management won't help. They say it's a 4/10 schedule but you work every Friday and some Saturdays. The work is always behind cause they won't hire enough people and if they do they want to cut everybody's pay. No one can advance because there is not enough time to train or enough people to move.

    Advice to Management

Don't make promises you can't keep. Show your guys appreciation give them the money they deserve. Make time to cross train for advancement.

I have been working at Dexter Field Services full-time

    Pros

Job is pretty easy, Good pay, benefits ect... Safety is great.

    Cons

Communication is not that great. Promises are not always kept. They tell you one thing to get you in but sometimes does not mention certain details. Seems like you have to suck up to the boss to get anywhere. Tough to get a raise even though you do what your supposed to or even more then you are supposed to.

    Advice to Management

Should recognize your employees that go above and beyond not just the ones that suck up to the bosses. Stick to your promises. When someone gets a promotion give them the money for it as well. More work should equal more pay.

I have been working at Dexter Field Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have been with the company for a little over a year now and have been cramming my brain full with regs and all sorts of procedures. Little did i know it would lead to a promotion. I am now a facility coordinator and really enjoy the level of advancement in this company.

    Cons

Training seems to be a weak point. My training when first hired on was amazing but now mostly all of it is just cbt and not much field training. I am more of a hands on learner so it helps to physically see or touch whatever it is that i am learning to do.

    Pros

Pay was alright for entry level position
    Can be promoted

    Cons

Do not expect to get promoted if you do not kiss your supervisors rear end.
They nickle and dime you to death
    Very unprofessional
You are lucky if you get a truck that doesn't look totaled
Management and supervisors do not like it when you have an idea for change
Was told that I would get paid extra for completing training and never did
Was told that I could do training and the website was always down

    Advice to Management

Get professional. Your trucks need to be decent and have your logo on them. If your employees are told in the interview process that they can have online training and get paid extra, make sure it happens. Your employees all need uniforms that fit with their name on them and stop handing down crap. Your equipment is old and outdated. Listen to the advice from your employees, they might actually have some good ideas that would help. You need to have all your forms online. It is time consuming and ridiculous to have to fill out a huge form day in and day out... know that most employees only fill out the form, scan it and print it out and change the date.
