    I worked at DiBella's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The work is easy and not hard to learn. It would be an ideal job for a highschool student part time as well. Most of the managers are nice.

    Cons

Constant micro-managing. They generally have 5 managers working and 5 employees. Some days there were more managers on shift than employees. Low pay, and they hire managers instead of promoting from within.

    Advice to Management

Promote from within because no one wants to work in a company with no advancement opportunities. Also, the micro-managing is entirely ridiculous. You're making sandwiches, not performing CPR. Mistakes will be made, and shouldn't be ridiculed so harshly.

    I worked at DiBella's part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Friendly in-store experience, health care for full time employees, easy to get on management track if interested

    Cons

Corporate presence overbearing, reduced labor hours for stores means always short staffed, low pay (start everyone at minimum wage)

    I have been working at DiBella's full-time

    Pros

The pros is that its a job. The customers are nice, and the food is great!

    Cons

The pay. The pay is minimum wage, and hourly management makes slightly above minimum wage. It's difficult to get a pay raise. They want maximum effort from their employees, but they are not willing to pay for it.

    Advice to Management

Instead of just talking about how important the crew is, show it.

    Pros

Job is extremely simple and easy to do, they'll hire almost anybody because turnover is so ridiculously high

    Cons

No appreciation for employees, you will always be sent home hours earlier than your schedule says because managers treat team members as expendable.
Also an extremely toxic work environment, the GM will constantly gossip about other employees any chance that she gets, when often that gossip is entirely untrue. There are a chosen few who get special treatment, but don't count on being one of those unless you can act completely fake and be a constant yes-man no matter what your standards or morals.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with more respect, and find better things to do than constantly insult and make up lies about them when they are simply doing their jobs to the best of their ability. Start working harder and taking a few less food breaks throughout the day too, your employees do notice this behavior. Employees have their own lives and goals, and many do not wish to make this their career. Stop making their jobs more stressful than they have to be. You're making sandwiches, nothing more.

    Pros

Good way to get management experience when you're young
    Food is great
Store is clean (if you keep up with in store cleaning)
Experience in a fast paced work environment

    Cons

    Crew can be unreliable
    Low pay rate
Corporate will force you to implement changes that make no sense
Money is always higher than you on the list of importance (Hurricane came through once and the district manager didn't let us close for the day)

    Advice to Management

Let the GM's who work 60+ hour weeks implement the protocols in their own stores; Corporate managers do not know best.

    I worked at DiBella's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The work is easy and they give you a set schedule if you desire it. Also, you get 50% off while working which I used very frequently.

    Cons

The management is very overstaffed which causes a LOT of micromanaging. I found that a lot of problems would arise because you'll have conflicting responsibilities when you are given tasks by different managers.

    Advice to Management

You need to learn to promote from within, seriously. No raises? That's a joke. Start giving back to your employees.
