    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Diagraph full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

car, Bonus structure isnt bad. Itw insurance is very good. Vacation structure is typical as with most large companies. Stock prices are very good.

    Cons

Over night travel for a day, then another city and overnight stay and then another city.

They tell you the travel will be 60% but in reality its almost 100%

    Advice to Management

Listen to the folks in the field. Communicate more with less cryptic messages. Before telling employees its "X Y and Z" - make sure it really is. When you get fact checked, and they find out your blowing smoke - You loose credibility.

    Pros

    Good IT support
    Good tools
    Some good products

    Cons

This company is not competitive and has lost a lot of large customers to the competition
Ineffective bumbling management team trying to figure it out along the way
No clear growth strategy or investment in R&D to become competitive
Too many senior managers who accomplish very little
    Products with unresolved issues
Not a customer focused organization...sell even if it does work
It is always the customer's fault
    Good Ol' Boy mentality

    Advice to Management

Too late for advice....competition's investment in growth is eclipsing Diagraph..

    Pros

If you are motivated you can learn many things, but you have to learn them on your own.

    Cons

HR is very pro inside staff and does not respond well to field personnel. Very hard or no where to move up within the remote field area. Diagraph since being bought by ITW is very focused on profit not personnel.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees and consider the job they do for you.
