I worked at DialAmerica part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Learned a lot of skills, good environment, they do lots of activities every week for all the agents it was a really fun place to be.

    Cons

Really fast paced training but once I got on the phones it was easy to see why. Different programs train different lengths.

    Advice to Management

I like all the feedback and coaching I got.

I have been working at DialAmerica part-time

    Pros

Understanding management. Access to a lot of overtime.

    Cons

Some trainers are very difficult to work with. Part time is the only option to begin even if you work 40-50 hours+ per week. Pay starts at $8.15 with almost no ability to make more. Clerical errors are quite prevelant in the front office.

    Advice to Management

Work on training program. It needs a lot of work. Also, work on broken equipment.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at DialAmerica part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Most of the people are nice. The work is easy!

    Cons

The managers are terrible. They all lie. All of them lied to me except Carl who is really nice and Steve. I didn"t really have to deal with Steve very much so I'm not actually sure about him

    Advice to Management

Javier is good. He's still learning but the two managers under him need to go. Give Carl a big raise cuz he does all the real work.

I have been working at DialAmerica full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Training is informative and the friendly management team is supportive and helps new hires until they fully understand. They don't have unreasonable performance goals and are creative in meeting such goals.

    Cons

They have recently relocated and are still getting set up in a new space. I expect these to be addressed as they settle in.

    Advice to Management

Well paid employees are more motivated to perform better in general.

I worked at DialAmerica part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I'm physically handicapped and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. These people are the greatest people to work with. So much so that I made some life long friends that I'll never forget. I would've stayed if I could find better transportation.

    Cons

No cons worth talking about. Everything thing was perfect in my book!

    Pros

Not sure what the pros are to a call center job but this is your run of the mill operation.

    Cons

At any point in time you may lose your job because they decided to ship the jobs to another country or lost a client

I worked at DialAmerica part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility in scheduling as long as schedule adherence is met. Training is adequate for the job. Outlined incentive plans for department is adequate.

    Cons

The older building needs alot of work. The pay could be higher than $8.00 because it would help retain employees.

    Advice to Management

Better communication so that all CSRs and managers are on the same page. Opportunities for more cross training within a specific department.
