    Pros

Not sure what the pros are to a call center job but this is your run of the mill operation.

    Cons

At any point in time you may lose your job because they decided to ship the jobs to another country or lost a client

    Pros

I have been working at DialAmerica full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Just the job next door at a convenient accessible location

    Cons

Demands for the job is not compensated by the hourly pay - too low for those with experience and the climb is a struggle just to get a raise. No employee benefits.

    Advice to Management

Please compensate well enough those who gave their loyalty and service with hard work and take real care of your employees so you don't see them come to train and just leave after being on production floor for the longest 2weeks then just leave without notice.

I worked at DialAmerica part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility in scheduling as long as schedule adherence is met. Training is adequate for the job. Outlined incentive plans for department is adequate.

    Cons

The older building needs alot of work. The pay could be higher than $8.00 because it would help retain employees.

    Advice to Management

Better communication so that all CSRs and managers are on the same page. Opportunities for more cross training within a specific department.

    Pros

    Pros

Consistent work, every day. Weekly pay. Nice working environment. Extensive training, at least initially. Relatively high standards.

    Cons

Very inconsistent local management. Advertised pay is NOT the pay you will receive, as there are conditions that have to be met before one receives the advertised pay rate. It is almost impossible to determine what your actual hourly pay rate is from the pay stub because of sliding incentive scale for sales. Very little planning in terms of hourly schedule. Technology available is on a hit or miss basis, almost daily, often impairing the ability for one to do the job.

    Advice to Management

Management "knows" all. They rarely acknowledge the feedback they receive. Further, the managers and supervisors are often completely unaware of errors and misinformation given by call associates because they are not pro-active about on-going product knowledge.

I worked at DialAmerica full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I learned that I never want to work at a call center ever again.

    Cons

As an incoming-only call center, the DialAmerica branch I worked at in Athens, GA was horrific and took absolutely no account of the needs of their employees. New recruits are placed at an anonymous desk with many computers lining its sides. You are allowed no non-work-related items on your desk. You have a computer in front of you, displaying only the time. And you have a headset that may go off at any time, with indeterminate pauses between.

I was made to pose as a Bank of America employee, though they had just

I have been working at DialAmerica part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours. Friendly coworkers. Jeans on Saturday. Free breakfast and lunch on Saturdays. This company had direct deposit available the first payday.

    Cons

Weekend hours. Very strict company policies. Business professional dress code. The worst thing is no benefits available. Clean desk policy. No food or drinks allowed in sales area.

    Advice to Management

    No problems

I worked at DialAmerica part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Peers are nicer and more helpful than management

    Cons

How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways...at $8.00 hourly, you're almost volunteering your time, some team leaders are respectful, however, most aren't, your schedule is subject to change at any time WITHOUT notice, you raise your hand like a kindergartner for any assistance, you are required to be rude to customers...

    Advice to Management

Employees are NOT your slaves...treat them accordingly!!!
