I have been working at DialAmerica part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Flexible scheduling Casual Dress Code Employee Appreciation Every Week Advancement Opportunities

    Cons

Short Breaks (3 mins for every 1hr worked) Cannot leave station unless going on break, this includes needing to use the restroom OR eat lunch , most likely you will go over breaktime attempting to do both. & they do not tell you this in the interview but after they hire you, phones are also not allowed on the floor, have to lock them in lockers. Strict Call Center setting

    Advice to Management

Should allow more mental stability to keep employees motivated. Staring at a computer screen 8hrs/5days a week with a limited break is very inhuman, hope to see company improve in the future.

I have been working at DialAmerica full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Flexible schedules Agents may participate in company approved activities

    Cons

Employees are supposed to get regular weekly reviews on their performance. You don't get ANY weekly personal development reviews. The ONLY time you're called into an office is when you've done something wrong. You will not get refresher training for a program you haven't worked in a while You're treated like a number. After a coworker was hospitalized for a serious condition, she was treated as though she was... recovering from a common cold

I worked at DialAmerica part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Managers are understanding of employees personal life changes. Managers will coach you to succeed. Flexible schedules allow employees to use this job as supplemental income or to fit employees' busy family life. Once an employee can prove that you can sale, said employee can get a Property and Casualty License to increase income. Incentives are given to top sellers of the day in the form of money or more break... time.

    Cons

Pay is just above minimum wage. Employees accrual 3 minutes of break time for every hour worked. It takes more than three minutes to walk to the bathroom, do your business, and walk back to seat so you can erase four hours of work by going to the bathroom. You would work your life away to survive.

    Advice to Management

No advice because the business model is entrenched.

    Cons

Not really any cons. Just that you have to be just as confident in yourself as they are in you. If your not a friendly person with excellent communication and customer services skills . Then this isn't the position for you!
