I have been working at Dialog Semiconductor full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Reasonably flexible in considering and accommodating individual circumstances (at least in UK), intercultural, agile for its size, senior management is generally approachable, good pay package, enables changes in career/expertise although much persuasion and perseverance may be needed.

    Cons

anything which comes with increasing company size: more admin + procedures (staying nimble is a challenge)

communication channels across sites (although efforts are made to enable this, e.g. travelling, communication software, relatively open and proactive culture encouraging communication)

Constant worry about what he future holds: probably not the place to retire

    Advice to Management

    - encourage changing sites/teams in view of personal circumstances and ambitions to avoid loosing staff
    - invest more in advanced and alternative technology developments (diversification) and ring fence from main business (not that this isn't done at all)

I have been working at Dialog Semiconductor full-time

    Pros

    - Very dynamic and flexible
    - Effective team effort
    - Fantastic environment

    Cons

    - Grown quickly to acquire all cons of a large organisation (politics, salary clamping etc.)
    - Driven mostly by South Europeans can sometimes frustrate/overpower other work cultures

    Advice to Management

    - Reward valuable staff globally, not just falsely identified "leads"
    - Make ALL staff feel valued
    - Strengthen line management/experience

I worked at Dialog Semiconductor full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good trainings, internal and external.
    Good people overall
    Good CAD tools flow

    Cons

It has hard IP and Product Group division
Product group is verification group it's not good for experienced professionals.
Very limited new design in IP group done by old engineers rest people just support verification.

Dialog has a YSS boss culture .
Decision making is behind doors does not take employee s inputs they hear it for the sake of it but don't use it

    Advice to Management

Creative and innovative work keeps employees happy and keeps company ahead of competition due to large innovative contribution from big employee pool. Two groups like product and R&D should not be separated hard lines ,keeps soft division by keeping groups but rotate people between R&D and verification .
