I have been working at Diamond Healthcare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The hiring process is thorough and they have quality employees

    Cons

The company is monetarily driven. Patient care and safety are second to profit. The company is based on the business model not the medical model.

    Advice to Management

Middle management practitioners at their site locations are micromanaged by unqualified and unethical CEO's. Directors and managers who support staff and institute safe practice over profit are admonished.

I worked at Diamond Healthcare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible work day and nice to see those in need getting help to improve their lives.

    Cons

On site manager / supervisor shows favoritism to employees she worked with at a previous company.

    Advice to Management

Senior management should spend more time conducting on site visits rather than focusing on bogus reports that can be manipulated to look like the program is productiv .

I worked at Diamond Healthcare full-time

    Pros

Being able to talk to our customers either in person or over the phone. Working on the computer placing information in, and organizing. Owners were understanding.

    Cons

The agency was not at all professional. Work was very out of order. Always low on staff members due to the company way of running.

    Advice to Management

Nothing, some people don't mind working in that type of environment, May God bless you, your family, and your business!

I have been working at Diamond Healthcare full-time

    Pros

There are none at this time.

    Cons

Management is very racist. Need to be trained in cultural diversity and other things. Can't keep goo people there due to money and not being able to speak up. God forbid if you do..you are blackballed.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees ( support staff). They really are the ones doing the work. Stop hyping up you company!! You have a bad name in some communities.

Former Employee - Registered Nurse in Middletown, OH

    Pros

    NONE! NADA! ZIP! NOTHING! INCOMPETENT!!

    Cons

Horrible place to work! Nurses were bitten, backbiting & lazy. So much redundant paperwork that nurses routinely falsified assessments when that hadn't even spoken to their patients. Had 2 patients died in restraints because they were not properly monitored. Both cases within a 2 week period!!! Do not even apply unless you are a lazy, unmotivated, vindictive, morbidly obese nurse!!

    Advice to Management

Fire ALL staff & start over with decent employees!!!!

I worked at Diamond Healthcare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A few quality managers, good salary, very much enjoyed working with the patients and trying to help them through difficult times.

    Cons

Unethical business practices, poor benefits, poor PTO, poor oversight of out-of-state facilities, constant upheaval, no concern for staff and addressing issues as they arise.

    Advice to Management

Insist on quality of patient care and ethical business practices, instead of making a profit at all costs. Eliminate interim CEO for hire positions. Creates constant upheaval every few months for staff and affects patient care, aside from trusting long-distance decision-making from persons uninvolved and uninvested in a community they have no intention of relocating to. Profit without quality patient care eventually leads to serious consequences.

I have been working at Diamond Healthcare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very few pros. Buildings are nice

    Cons

Health insurance is just ok, pay is ok but they increase expectations with OUT compensation. Management and employees in Virgia just do not appear to be the best. They know NOTHING about Texas market but act like they do.

    Advice to Management

Hire local. Stop hiring friends of employees. Listen to your line staff so they stop quitting. Quit trying to snow employees with "that's the way we do it" . It's not working. Since Diamond has taken over not one thing is going better than before. That's been 5 months ago

    Cons

They will build an alias against you if you are one who speaks up for yourself. Room for advancement is base upon if your liked or not.

    Advice to Management

Management will try an intimidate you if you don't agree with them.
